The next meeting of the Carbon County Art League
will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008
starting PROMPTLY at 6:30 PM
at the Lehighton Rec Center,
located on 8th & Iron Streets, Lehighton, PA.
There will be no January Meeting

MEMBER NEWS
Sadly, longtime member Carmela L. De Luka of
Weatherly died at her home the evening of Nov. 6.
She was a retired teacher and reading therapist in
the Philadelphia School System. In addition she was
a talented artist specializing in etchings and an active
member of the Hazleton and Carbon County Art League.
For many years, she was the editor of this news letter.
A card and a flower arrangement was sent on behalf of the Art League.
She is surrived by her husband, Dominic DeLuca, 789 E. Main St.
Weatherly, PA 18255. Thank you to Theresa Kuchta for
passing along this information.
Know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers,
Theresa and your husband.
We wish you God Speed in your recoveries.
