How long does my membership
last?
Answer:
Membership is good
for one year
renewable in January of each year.

Can I join if I am
not an artist?
Answer:
Yes! The Carbon County
Art League welcomes
patrons, supporters, collectors
and art appreciators!

When and Where does
the League meet?
Answer:
Usually the second
Wednesday of every month, 6:30 PM
at the Recreation Center 8th and Iron Streets in Lehighton.
Question:
How can I exhibit?
Answer:
Join the League! You
must be a member to exhibit
in most shows. Unpaid members will not be allowed to exhibit.
They may diplay by paying the same fee as non members.
Some exhibits are open to the public.
Look for
announcements in the local newspapers
and other media.

Can I join a committee?
Answer:
Absolutely! Some committees
that we have are:
Programs,Trips/Development, Publicity,
Newsletter, and Hospitality/Shows.

Is there a way I can use my talent?
Answer:
You Bet! We are looking a volunteer
to up date our site
on a regular basis. Please contact our president, Tony Rubel at

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
We are Painters, Sculptors,
Printers, Photographers, Ceramists, Calligraphers, Wood & Glass &
Metal Workers, Mixed Media Artists, Digital Artists, Gallery Owners, Art
Instructors, Art Students, Art Connoisseurs and just plain folk who are
interested in the Arts & dedicated to inspiring & encouraging
one another.
We endeavor to promote and foster an awareness of the
Arts in our Community.
Come to one of our monthly meetings, usually the 2nd Wednesday
of the month, at the Lehighton Recreation Center, 8th &
Iron Streets, Lehighton, PA. We have speakers, demonstrations, critiques,
life drawing, plein air events, monthly art exhibits at Second
Saturdays Gallery in Jim Thorpe, a newsletter, trips to galleries
& museums in major cities, parties and just a great time. See and
hear for yourself why you should be a part of this 20+ year Art League!
